gaming, online music vending and other e-commerce applications. The WebLink platform is built on Big Chief s intellectual property for
leveraging Internet software development. With a mixture of client-side and
server-side components, this reusable Internet technology reduces development
time and provides increased flexibility by separating appearance and brand from
technology using XML and XSL-T. These components are platform independent and
support all client and server platforms.
In the early 1990s, Peter developed cross platform technology allowing
common source code to implement applications on both the Windows and Macintosh
platforms. This technology was licensed to US West Communications in 1990, Teton
Data Systems in 1992 and Apple Computer in 1993. It became the basis for several
successful software products. Peter is the author of Big Chief s system for managing dynamic graphic
layouts independent of screen resolution. He developed this system over a period
of 8 years and was awarded a US Patent in August 1998. This technology has
formed the basis of a number of software applications built by the Big Chief
Partners team.
