HopeLink.com provides services to enhance healthcare choices and improve the clinical development process. The company's first service offering is an Internet-based application to facilitate participation in clinical trials and increase process efficiencies in clinical development.

Corporate Site

In 2000, we developed HopeLink's corporate web site, working with content developed by the client and graphic design from the LMN Group.  The first version of HopeLink's site went live in October 2000 to coincide with the company's launch, and an expanded and revised version went live in December 2000. 

We used our own web management technology to develop the site.  This technology allows  us to significantly reduce the effort required to develop and update web sites. The site uses the Apache Web server running on the Sun Solaris Operating System. All of our scripting for this web site was implemented in Java Server Pages (JSP) using WebLogic from BEA Systems and Jrun from Allaire Corporation.

Strategic Advice

In addition to producing the web site, we provided strategic advice to HopeLink to help the company choose Customer Relationship Management (CRM) products to optimize its business. We developed a list of relevant criteria for HopeLink and then evaluated numerous CRM products. From this evaluation, we recommended three possible CRM solutions for HopeLink; they subsequently adopted our leading choice from this group of three.

In the early stages of our engagement with HopeLink, we provided more general technology advice related to its partnerships with Exodus Networks and LoudCloud Corporation. Our counsel covered such areas as security, network configurations and Virtual Private Networks (VPN).
